This 6/8 originated from having to play on the spot in whatever timing the dance instructor tells you. It was a job I had taken for a couple of years at the university. I loved it! It was a rare time where I was getting up in the morning to go to work....playing piano for hours a day. I chose to call this "The Hem" in reference to the account of the woman who was healed with a touch of Messiah's garment. I just saw her dancing!
